Sundance Head.

What an awesome name.

And this, is my early tip to win American Idol this year.

Or at least, be in the final twelve.

That guy can sing on the same scale as Meat Loaf, but blues.

Yeah, that's the soul man, right there.

So, the US goes back into Somalia.

Dropping their shit from a great height too.

Now that the Etheopians, America's proxy war partner, have invaded and driven the Union of Islamic Councils to undertake a guerilla war, it seems enevitable that the fighting will spread, engulfing the entire Horn of Africa.

That this place is the supposed cradle of humanity, it sure doesn't see a lot today.

Under the guise of the 'Global War on Terror', another 'enemy' state is mercilessly crushed.

"Go team America!"

Changes, changes.

I've been making minor adjustments over the past few weeks.

I decided this morning that I wanted a more powerful piece of music on the profile, so went for the first five minutes or so of Carmina Burana.

Very passe, I know, but I love it and it works with the page, so...

Added some more fractals.

I also succumbed to demands to place a picture of myself into my portfolio.

Poll Question #1732

Started by: Kytrin

Jan 19 2007

Forum postings: Do you think forum threads should be monitored more closely for appropriate content

1. Yes 21 67.74%

2. No 10 32.26%

Total Votes: 31

Being that I read almost every post of every thread, I would say it might be difficult for it to be any more closely watched.

But what I think you mean, is should the forum topics be more restrictive?- to which I say no.

VR isn't a mainstream site and whilst the age limit is set low, the fact that it is, means that kids won't lie about their age so often and thus, it becomes easier to identify younger members to watch out for.

But from the few threads which I believe prompted this poll, I can say that the pro's and con's are fairly balanced. And to be frank, there is scant little detail in some of these 'concenring' topics, especially considering that which can be found with a quick google search.

Sit these results next to the poeple who believe that the Forum is overmoderated already and we find a conflict of interest.

One cannot eat one's cake and have it, as they say.

*eats his cake*

It was so bad, I may just leave it at that. I think that the shame is already felt well enough, that I need not poke fun...

I'm sorry Sahahria, its not your fault, I know. Try not to think about it dear. It could have been worse. Well, apart from the bra-less woman in gold...

It has taken just thirty years to produce the change shown in this image, of what was Africa's third largest lake.

As a result, the 'Ocean in the Desert', is now little more than a puddle.

Scientific studies point to many factors- Global warming, River dams and the growing desertification.

The 'recent' photo is actually five years old now.

A funny thing I saw on TV, surprisingly.

Watchdog.

A UK show which exposes frauds and scams.

They had this one section, on the diet testing and food reaction tests.

To determine a body's tolerance to certain foods.

One used a blood test, where they also were under the double-blind placebo test. They passed it and have been going strong on this kind of work for 25 years.

The head of the company even has an MBE.

The other test, used hair. The test was to determine how the food was interacting with a persons energy system.

Thats when it piqued my interest.

Amazing how the two most reliable test for determining how food (energy source), affects the human body, focus upon blood makeup and energetic resonance.

Heh.

Archive threads are missing?

Uh-oh.

Thats odd.

I can still find them.

By simply changing the message id number on the following URL:

https://www.vampirerave.com/message.php?message=448953

Adjust the number down to go further back.

Obviously, some of the thread id's will have been deleted as RIA, but it definetly still works.

Of course, so many have been deleted, it's a slow process to find the id of the one which is sought.

lol

I never accepted this position in order to gain recognition, nor fame.

But it does seem to have brought me noteriety, at least.

My reasons are my own and it has brought me much, in terms of learning and opportunity, even changed my life.

So, for that at least, I am grateful.

Good news?

Or the better news?

Lets have both.

I may be working in Florida by the end of this month, if my boss can't replace the guy who left by the 13th.

It may be for up to a month.

I will get a free flight.

Free accomodation.

Free cab to and from places.

Paid to work with the owners (CEO and MD) of my company.

If it goes well, I could move permanently.

And even if I don't get to go now, I'll probably go in the spring summer, as an exchange so my Director can train the new guy.

I kept a straight face through the whole meeting, even looking a bit disappointed at times, when he said 'you might have to stay for a few weeks'.

heh.

I'll have my Oscar now please.

The IT Manager in our Florida office quit on Tuesday.

I've been doing his job and mine since.

Pretty tired.

But it's like fate...

Except, my dendrophiliac ass never bothered to get a driving license.

I disagree with cars on principle.

In the UK, at least. I now can understand why they have big cars in the States. Everything else is about 20% bigger than in the UK.

But we have a public transport system in the UK, which, admittedly, can be dire at times, but at least it exists.

I dread the day that I have to catch a Greyhound somewhere in the states. No wonder the airlines make a mint.

But still, I could get one of the crash courses and have a license in a month or so.

*sigh*

Every day that I seek to achieve more, it seems to draw me further into a system which I abhor...
